Turn OFF or Disable the Update Reminder in Mojave

  • Step 1:Switch on your Mac system.
  • Step 2:Click the Apple icon.

  • Step 5:Locate and click the Software Update option.

For Mojave:

  • Click the Apple icon or menu.
  • Now, a drop-down menu list will appear on the screen.

  • Locate the Download new updates when available option and enable or select it by clicking the checkbox beside it.

In High Sierra:

  • Disable or deselect the Download newly available updates in the background option.

In High Sierra:
