Mac Photos Export Error

If you have recently upgraded your macOS to the next version, you may face this issue. In some cases, while exporting photos, you will receive an error mentioning “Export complete with Errors.” Otherwise, the error “0 of 1 file have been exported” prompts up. This happens when the export operation fails to create a file for the selected photo. It will show an error message as “Could not load image (1019).” Proceed with the steps given below to fix the Mac photos export error occurring on your Mac device while exporting photos.

Method 1:

  • Step 1: From the homescreen of your Mac, click the Finder icon on the Dock.
  • Step 2: Go to Preferences and checkmark the Home folder in the sidebar.
  • Step 3: Now, go to your Photos application and select all the photos which you want to export.
  • Step 4: Go the File menu and select the Export option from the list to solve Mac photos export error.
  • Step 5: Choose the Exporting preferences, either unmodified original or just the photo.
  • Step 6: Go to the Home folder in the sidebar and select Pictures.
  • Step 7: Your photos will now be exported to the selected folder

Method 2:

  • Step 1: Go to the homescreen on your Mac. Select Finder and go to the Picture folder.
  • Step 2: Locate the iPhoto or Photo Library option in the Picture folder to solve Mac photos export error.
  • Step 3: Select the Picture folder and right-click on it to select the Show Package Content option from the list.
  • Step 4: In the list of folders, locate the Masters option.
  • Step 5: Right-click on the Masters option and click Get Info.
  • Step 6: Ensure that you are an Admin user to export the photos.
  • Step 7: Click on the Unlock button and enter the admin password if prompted.
  • Step 8: In the Shared section, select the Admin user and the users you want to give access.
  • Step 9: Set the permission to Read and Write to the selected users.
  • Step 10: Click the Gear-wheel icon and select Apply Enclosed Items.
  • Step 11: When prompted for confirmation with the message “This cannot be undone,” select Ignore.
  • Step 12: Your Mac device will now be changed to the settings to give permission.
  • Step 13: Now after fixing Mac photos export error, go to the Photos folder to export your pictures.
