How to Update Itunes on Mac

iTunes has always played a significant role in developing Apple devices or Mac. On a more personal scale, iTunes helps in downloading media files from the internet to your MAC. Apple releases iTunes update regularly.The iTunes automatically detects new updates and downloads it if your Mac is connected to a wireless network./p>

Auto Update

  • Step 1: You can check for the iTunes update manually.
  • Step 2: Open the Applications tab and select the App Store.
  • Step 3: You will see an update option under a list of tabs on the left side.
  • Step 4: Click Updates. It will either show if your Mac has found iTunes updates or No Updates(All apps are up to date).
  • Step 5: You can also select Automatic Updates. 
  • Step 6: It will automatically update your iTunes if Apple releases any.

Manual Update

  • Step 1: Open your Mac.
  • Step 2: Launch Mac’s Safari browser.
  • Step 3: Enter Apple’s official website and click Support.
  • Step 4: Select the MAC option from the list of tabs above the web page.
  • Step 5: Make sure your Mac is connected to a wireless network.
  • Step 6: Check for updates and select iTunes.
  • Step 7: Confirm your selection and click Yes. 
  • Step 8: The update will download the latest version of iTunes to your Mac.
