How To Connect A Laptop To A Mac?

  • Step 1:You can use a USB hub if you are out of ports on your Macdevice.
  • Step 2:Connect the power cable to your Mac device and plug in the other end to an electrical outlet.
  • Step 3:Also, connect your laptop to a power source.
  • Step 4:Connect both the laptop and the Mac device using a FireWire 800 cable.
  • Step 5:If you are using the Mac device as a host computer, turn it on and let the laptop be off.

  • Step 18:Go to Options, checkmark the Share files using the SMB option.
  • Step 19:You can create a new folder and give Sharing access from the Properties section.
