Before deleting the Google search history, check all the deleted activity as per the guidelines given here.

  • Step 1: Launch the Google Chrome web browser on your computer and sign in to the Google account using the email address and password.
  • Step 2: Select the Data & Personalization option on the left panel and click the My Activity button.
  • Step 3: After selecting the Delete Activity By option, choose the date and time.
  • Step 4: Now, you can view the deleted history from the Google Chrome web browser. You can delete the Google search history by following the quick instructions on your computer.
  • Step 5: After launching the Google Chrome web browser on the computer, click the hamburger icon at the top-right corner of the screen.
  • Step 6: Select the More Tools option followed by the Clear Browsing Data option.
  • Step 7: Choose any one of the following options from the ‘Obliterate the following items’ drop-down menu.
  • Step 8: The beginning of time.
  • Step 9: The past hour.
  • Step 10: The past day.
  • Step 11: The past week.
  • Step 12: The last 4 weeks.
  • Step 13: Select the checkbox next to the options that are listed here.
  • Step 14: Browsing history.
  • Step 15: Download history.
  • Step 16: Cookies and other sites and plug-in-date.
  • Step 17: Cached images and files.
  • Step 18: Passwords.
  • Step 19: Click the Clear Browsing Data button at the lower-right corner of the screen to Delete Google Search History permanently.
  • Step 20: Finally, restart the Google Chrome web browser.
