  • Step 1:On your Mac, you need to close the iTunes app first and then click the View menu followed by As Columns.

  • Step 4:If you have the adi folder in the Shared folder, give a right-click on it and select the Move to Trash option.
  • Step 5:Close the window and give a right-click on the Trash icon near the Dock.
  • Step 6:Select the Empty Trash option to clear the deleted files inside the Trash folder.

  • Step 2: Navigate to Finder and select the "Utilities" icon.

  • Step 4: Type the command "sudo chmod 1777 /Users/Shared" in the Terminal window and press the Enter key.
  • Step 5: If prompted, enter your administrator password in the required field and hit the Enter button.

  • Step 7: If you aren't able to view the Shared folder, relaunch the Terminal window and type the "sudo mkdir -p /Users/Shared/" command.  
  • Step 8: Press the Enter key and enter your Mac login credentials if prompted.
  • Step 9: Type the command "sudo chmod 1777 /Users/Shared" in the Terminal window and press the Enter key.
  • Step 10: Locate the adi folder and delete it by pressing the Command + Delete shortcut keys.
